I have seen how long a game can take to get published (if it ever gets published). I am seriously curious if anyone feels strongly about a self/un-published "diamond in the rough" waiting for a Z-man or other game publisher to come.

RULES:

1) Please mention someone elses' game. Don't self promote in the list; if you must, promote your game in the comments.

2) One game per user.

That's it!

First, I love abstracts. Secondly, I love tic tac toe variants. Third, this game should be cheap enough to produce.

The only problem I see is the game's own creator ranks it a 6. It still looks interesting...

This is a great game, well worth downloading. I guess it's a bit too complex for a major publisher to pick up which is a shame. But I would urge you to look at it and have a go.

Disclaimer: the designer is a friend of mine so I am biassed! However, other designer friends would agree that I am more than happy to trash their games if I don't like them, so you can rest assured that this comment is genuine.

Yes, I do too.... that one even won the microgame design award I think. I just really like the theme of ON!TGT! and I think some of the mechanisms are really neat, and fit the theme well.

This is a new game by a new game designer. In fact it is his first game and it is self published. I was very pleased when my copy arrived in the mail and I opened it to find quality design with quality components. My wife and I played a couple of quick games and were very impresses; we look forward to more plays with more players. This has lots of replay value.

John's first entry into the games market has certainly made an impression on me and I will be closely watching his other releases.

Good work! Keep 'em coming.

I traded for a copy of this from the creator. It's self-published; this does show, though the components aren't terrible either. The cards are of good quality, though the game board is lacking a bit.

Anyway, this game will obviously appeal to those that loved the hilarious 'Snakes on a Plane', but there's also a decent game here as well; I think many would enjoy it even if they didn't like the movie. There's a pretty good balance between choosing to save valuable cards for when they're needed and using as many cards as possible (you redraw up to 5 every turn, so unused cards are sort of wasted actions).

Worth checking out, and I'd recommend it. I rate it around a 7 after 5 plays.
